I'm staying here," I said.

"Oh no you are not," shouted Mum. "You are coming with us."

I could not believe it. Mum and Dad had sold our beautiful little house a bought a big creepy looking house in the middle of a dark forest.

"Our new house has a nice green roof," said Mum.

"It's got big beautiful windows," said Dad. "And a good strong door."

"It's got lots of rooms," said Mum. "So you will be able to have a bedroom of your own."

"Wicked!" I cried. "It's about time."

But the front door moaned and groaned when we opened it. And the stairs creaked and squeaked when we went up them.

In the first room there was a great big hole in the floor… I could see all the way down to the living room. There was a skeleton sat on the sofa watching Ghostbusters on the t.v.

In the second room there was a Mummy trying on new bandages.

In the bathroom we saw a werewolf having a wash.

The last room looked perfect. It had a big comfy bed and a wardrobe to hang my clothes - but inside the wardrobe we found a vampire hanging upside down.

"Aarghh!" screamed Mum.

"We're getting out of here," said Dad.

"Hurray!" I cheered. "Back home to our beautiful little house."
